The highlight for me was visiting Monkey Island. The name doesn’t disappoint! We saw Capuchins, Howler monkeys, and Tamarins, all swinging through the trees or curiously approaching the boat. Feeding them bits of fruit was an unforgettable experience. Just be ready for their tiny hands to surprise you!
After the boat tour, we headed into Soberanía National Park for a guided jungle hike. The guide pointed out all sorts of wildlife: baby crocodiles sunning on the shore, exotic birds calling from the canopy, and yes, even a sleepy sloth or two if you’re lucky.
